Our Rooms: Thinking Zone

The Thinking Zone is a wirelessly networked, flexible learning space with up to 20 laptops available and 15 Apple Macbooks. The room also hosts an Interactive Promethean board and projecto, a Dolby 5.1 surround sound system and a Holophone Microphone for recording iin surround sound. The Thinking Zone offers a flexible teaching space as well as comfortably accommodating up to 30 people for meetings and conferences.

The room can be laid out in a multitude of different ways:

• A Meeting room with tables set in a square or horseshoe;
• An open space with all of the chairs stacked and tables put away;
• A lecture theatre with the chairs laid out in rows facing the same direction
• A traditional classroom with groups of table and chairs set out as per the requirement of the user.
