Our Rooms: TV and Radio Station

Our state-of-the-art TV and radio station can be booked to produce a wide range of projects.

The Television station comprises three cameras with teleprompt and full green screen capabilities. The backgrounds can be changed during filming and additional clips or images mixed in to make your programme. The programmes are then streamed from our media server where they can be watched at anytime. We also give you the code for your programme which allows you to drop your videos into your MLE or school website very easily.

Sessions currently being run in the TV Station include:

• Primary literacy
• Secondary EAL

The radio station comprises a CD player/recorder, mini-disk recorder, as well as a Soundcraft radio desk and Jazzler play-out system.

The Radio Station is sound-proofed to ensure that the least possible external bleed will be picked up by the Microphones. Ideally suited to 4 or 5 people, the Radio Station can be used to teach the techniques of Radio Programming and Sound Recording.
